How Sulio Works

Everything you need to know to set up your booking workspace, manage services, and get your first booking.

Getting Started

After signing up, Sulio walks you through a 4-step onboarding flow:

Business Details

Enter your business name, industry, and a short description. This appears on your public booking page.

Brand Persona

Choose your workspace URL (e.g. acme.sulio.net), pick brand colors, and upload a logo. Your booking page inherits all of this automatically.

Your Services

Add the services customers can book — name, description, price, duration, and currency. You can add more from the dashboard anytime.

Final Review

Review everything and launch. Your workspace goes live immediately.

Your workspace URL cannot be changed after launch, so choose carefully. Everything else can be edited later.

Services

A Service is what your customers book — e.g. "Badminton Court", "1hr Massage", "Consulting Session".

NameDisplayed on your booking page and in confirmation emails.
DescriptionA short sentence explaining what's included. Helps customers choose the right service.
DurationHow long one session lasts. Select a fixed duration or choose "No fixed duration" for open-ended sessions (flexible scheduling).
PricePer-session price. Stored in the currency you select.
CurrencyThe currency for this service's price (USD, PHP, EUR, etc.).
Active / InactiveInactive services are hidden from your booking page but kept in your records.

You can have multiple services with different currencies — useful if you offer premium vs standard tiers.

Resources

A Resource is a bookable unit under a service — a physical space, piece of equipment, or person. Examples: Court 1, Court 2, Studio A, Therapist Jane.

Resources let Sulio track which specific unit is taken for each booking, preventing double-booking automatically.

Namee.g. "Court 1", "Lane 3", "Room B".
ServiceAssign a resource to a specific service. A Badminton Court won't appear as an option when booking a Pickleball service. Leave unassigned to share across all services.
DescriptionOptional notes visible to the admin (not customers).
Active / InactiveDeactivate a resource temporarily (e.g. a court under repair) without deleting it.

If you have no resources, each time slot allows exactly one booking. Add resources to allow multiple simultaneous bookings — one per resource.

How auto-assignment works

When a customer books, Sulio automatically assigns the first available resource for that service. If all resources are taken at that time, the slot shows as fully booked.

If you enable Allow resource choice in Settings, customers can see and pick their preferred resource (e.g. choose a specific court).

Bookings

All bookings land in your Bookings dashboard. Each booking has a status:

PendingCustomer submitted a booking but it hasn't been confirmed yet. Waiting for your review or payment proof.
ConfirmedYou confirmed the booking. The customer receives a confirmation email.
CancelledThe booking was cancelled. The slot becomes available again.

Manual bookings

Use the New Booking button to create a booking on behalf of a customer — useful for walk-ins or phone reservations.

Group bookings

A customer can book the same service across multiple dates in one session. These are grouped together in your dashboard under a shared customer email, making bulk confirmation easy.

Scheduling Settings

Business HoursThe start and end time of your operating day. Customers can only book within this window.
Slot IntervalHow often time slots appear on your booking page. A 30-minute interval shows 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, etc. Should match your shortest service duration.
Advance Booking (days)How far ahead customers can book. Set to 30 to let customers book up to 30 days in the future.
Flexible SchedulingInstead of fixed slots, customers pick a start and end time freely within your business hours. Best for services with variable durations.
Allow Resource ChoiceLet customers see and pick their preferred resource (e.g. choose Court 1 vs Court 2). When off, Sulio auto-assigns.
Show DurationsControls whether service durations appear on your public booking page.
Show PricesControls whether prices appear on your public booking page.

Branding & Page Customization

Your booking page is fully customizable from Settings → Booking Page.

LogoDisplayed in the header of your booking page. Recommended: square PNG with transparent background.
Brand ColorsPrimary color drives buttons, accents, and highlights. Secondary color is used for badges and secondary actions.
FontApplied site-wide on your booking page.
Hero StyleHow your booking page header looks — Gradient (brand color wash), Banner (full-width photo), or Minimal (clean text only).
LayoutSidebar Right, Sidebar Left, or Centered — controls where the booking summary panel sits.
Border RadiusRounded (soft), Sharp (rectangular), or Pill (very rounded) — affects buttons and cards.
Banner ImageFor Hero Style: Banner. Upload a wide photo to use as the page header background.

Payments

Sulio doesn't process payments directly — instead it uses a QR proof-of-payment flow that works with any local payment method (GCash, Maya, bank transfer, cash).

Upload your QR code

Go to Settings → Payment and upload your payment QR (GCash, bank, etc.). Add payment instructions if needed.

Customer pays

After choosing a time, the customer is shown your QR code and told to pay the displayed amount.

Customer uploads proof

The customer uploads a screenshot of their receipt on the confirmation page.

You confirm

Review the proof in your Bookings dashboard and confirm the booking. The customer receives a confirmation email.

No payment gateway fees. Works with any QR-based payment system popular in your region.

Closure Dates

Block out specific dates when your business is closed — holidays, maintenance days, special events. Customers cannot book on closure dates.

Add closure dates from Settings → Closure Dates. Each date shows a reason label visible only to you.

Closure dates block the entire day. For partial-day blocks (e.g. morning only), adjust your business hours temporarily instead.
